We have been working on a long term project to bring custom 3-piece Japanese style wheels to market since 2020.

We have completed all aspects of design, development, project management and business work on this project from concepts through to production.

We have created twelve unique and bespoke designs. The design process went as follows:

• Create hand sketches
• Create 3D CAD of design
• Refine design until proportions look correct
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to optimise strength and mass
• Perform manufacturing study to optimise design for CNC machining
• Perform Fatigue Analysis to ensure the wheel lasts a lifetime
• Create 3D photorealstic renders
• Create 2D manufacturing drawings
• Select and liase with suppliers to manufacture parts
• Build and assemble wheels
• Test prototypes
• Feedback prototype test results into design
